Leaving from the MCC on Sunday, 26 Apr.

Ok nice we are planning on leaving on the Saturday potentially using Cycad cave that night

We struggled to find a path a while after leaving Cycad cave. We ended up bundu bashing for a while, for once we reached those big brown boulders we dropped back into the stream bead and just boulder-hopped the rest of the way. The top of the pass was quite wet and we ended up hauling the bags at the one obstacle and handed them up at the second obstacle.

Having returned here after many, many years and being much older, it was tiring ascending the pass and some things have definitely changed, but it remains an amazing place and still one of my favourites. Although I found the last obstacle in Corner Pass much more technical than anything in Ifidi Pass, overall the latter is a much more demanding prospect. I hope it remains as remote and wild as it is for many, many years to come.
