my photo comp entry Various Greens of the Little Berg:

The photo was taken looking back while hiking home from Keith Bush Camp to Monk's Cowl Carpark. We'd had 20mm rain and a massive thunderstorm the night before which cleaned the air and settled the dust. For me this picture epitomises the scenic beauty of the Little Berg and will remain my abiding memory of the hike home.

This photo was taken on our way to the Bell Traverse via Orange Peel Gap. The contrasting green grass and blue sky paints the most beautiful pictures only the Berg can offer.

I recently visited Aasvoelkrantz Cave in the Highmoor area of the Drakensberg, and as always, was drawn by the beauty of the valley on approaching the Highmoor office ... inviting one in to explore further.
