@ ASL where did you see that CUM down sweater? I haven't seen it online or in my local store yet?

Here is a link to the K-Way light Down sweater that ASL mentioned (I think it's the one) above:

FYI - the K-Way Drake jacket discussed above has duck-down and not goose down.

Duck down clusters are smaller than goose down and as such requires more of it to achieve comparable insulation.
Therefore for the same insulation value, the item of clothing would be heavier than it's goose down comparison.
Comparisons are based on birds of the same age.
Considering the jacket mentioned above weighs less than 300g, one has to wonder how warm it will actually be.

Thanks for that! Now we just need a test 'dummy' to try it out in some really cold conditions...

I will be testing it because I purchased one on the 20% online sale recently.
I haven't taken the tag off though as I'm not convinced its any warmer than my R150 fleece, albeit less than half the weight.
I wait for cooler weather with much anticipation!

Slightly off-topic, the ODW sale mentioned
also has Cape Storm Belay jacket for R700 (R300 off), but its not on the catalogue.

Is a down sweater/lightweight jacket suitable for 'berg Winters or would a warmer jacket (like the CS High Down) be necessary?
