The sun was behind the Old Woman and the buttress overlooking it, and projected their shadows onto the clouds - at least I think so, there might be a more technical explanation how this phenomenon occurs.

Last day to submit photos for this round! There have been quite a few images submitted this time which is great. We do need to get the number of votes up on each image, some have only had 2 votes. Its easy: browse to the gallery , click on the first image, then give it your rating by clicking on the stars where it says "Image Rating" below the image, then click Next to browse to the next one.

Submissions are now closed! Number of ratings has picked up slightly, but could benefit from more. Currently there is a tie between Shadow Woman and Snow View (4.22 / 4 votes each). Get your ratings in guys!
