Here is the expected snowfall that is currently predicted to fall on Saturday:



Although the escarpment is not currently looking likely to receive any substantial snowfall, the main feature of this event will be a very severe drop in temperature, possibly reaching -10°C on Sunday morning in places.

- 3.9 deg C at Vultures retreat. Tipping bucket gauge is showing precip and it can't be rain!

It seems most of the berg is getting a light dusting above 2000m that's settling. Lower areas have had down to 1500m that hasn't settled

Plenty of fresh snow on Sentinel yesterday, and some falling snow in the afternoon as well. There was also a lot of left over snow on top, especially as you head further into the Free State. Unfortunately none of my photos really show how much snow there was.
